All order postage are charged per one address. Please contact us if you need a product urgently and we will do what we can to help. Once we have received your order we will email you within 2 - days from order date to confirm that we have the item in stock and to give you an approximate delivery date. Furniture orders are usually delivered within 7 - 14 days, however sometimes there is a delay which we will notify you immediately after order. Furniture orders are delivered by our white glove couriers who will call you to arrange a ETA 4 hour delivery time. Cornwall and Devon and Scotland, Ireland are subject to additional cost of postage as they are out of our delivery zone.
If the item is not in stock then we will let you know when it will be back in stock so that you have the opportunity to choose between canceling your order or waiting for it.
Customers wanting parcels left with next door or left on premises without signing for is at your own risk, and we won't be held responsible for loss or damage.
USA, Europe, International
We send products Internationally with Fedex. Large heavy items will need Our wooden crate service at extra cost. Please contact us before you buy our products to get correct shipping quote to your country, if you purchase furniture first before contacting us for a quote, extra fees will be added to your order, it's always worth contacting us first for International shipping orders. We will not insure furniture orders without our wooden crate service. We can send furniture boxed but this is at your own risk and we are not liable for any damages in transit.

Please check goods on arrival for damage. All small home decor parcels are also fully insured. Please report damage within 24 hours from signature date, time or the claim will not stand and we will not be liable.
USA & Europe Check Goods.

The USA and International are VAT free on all products.
All International Orders import Tax will be added to your product from your Countries Customs, please be aware of the added tax on the product when you receive it. 'If you don't except the COD taxes we are not liable for the return of the product to us and will not refund the product amount to you.
UK Delivery Check goods on arrival, Once goods are accepted from the carrier signed or not signed for no responsibility can be taken by Smithers of Stamford for any loss or damage. We do offer white glove service where you check over the furniture with the drivers and they won't leave you until your happy with the furniture. If you're unsure, you can send it back with them at our cost! No Quibble No Bother, refunds will be made within 14 working days.
The USA And International
We take photos of everything we post and check prior to sending. In the event that your parcel arrives damaged call us for a replacement within 96 hours.
All Parcels must be signed for by an adult aged 16 or over on delivery. Payment Option We use the online payment gateway PayPal pro has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). Paypal is the highest secure levels of security, ensuring that you remain secure throughout the payment process. We accept payment By Telephone with Worldpay also.
Returns and Exchanges
We hope you are happy with your order but we understand that sometimes you will want to return an item to us, as you might have changed your mind this is fine as Smithers of Stamford do offer a guarantee of no quibble.
Contact us within 14 days and we will exchange or give you a full refund, Goods must be unused in perfect condition and no damage (including original box and remain in a saleable condition. We do not refund your original postage cost, if you want to return to us, this is fine and we can arrange collection with our couriers. We are unable to refund the return postage by you, If you want to return, you must email us within 7 days giving notice.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of receiving the goods back to Smithers. The Refund will be made to your original payment method.
We do our best to ensure that our products are wrapped to protect your products. Furniture is checked and photos are taken before it's shipped to you. Sometimes we do have to rely on third-party couriers to deliver our goods to you and sometimes things can go wrong , it can happen from time to time but not very often as we do pride ourselves on using the best couriers in the World. Please open parcel on delivery to check your furniture over, If you receive damaged goods from us, accept our apologies for any inconvenience made to you, this only applies for big furniture, all small packages are sent with Fedex but please email us immediately with your order number and clear photo of the damage within 24 hours for the UK and 96 hours for International. We will send you a collection and post another one out to you immediately if it's in stock or refund you.
Smithers of Stamford Products have a 3 month warranty for defects, this does not cover wear and tear woodworm and cracks. Please see our furniture care page.
